London 2021 Hair Makeup Trend Fashion Week
London Fashion Week never lacks fun and drama, and this season is no exception-from Molly Goddard’s pink bubble skirt to Matty Bovan’s bungee style items, designers coincidentally look forward to a better life after the epidemic is over.
Hair and makeup are also full of vitality: bright eyeshadow, 3D makeup, colorful hair color and complex braided hair. “Good look” has continued from last season to the present, such as the cherry blushes of Simone Rocha and Roksanda models. In addition, although red lips are classic, this season’s jelly lips are even more fashionable.
Let’s take a look at the highlight hair and beauty trends of the 2021 Fall Winter London Fashion Week.
- Trend 1: Highlights
Last season, a whole head of unexpected hair colors, such as hot pink and fluorescent green, were popular; this season, they should be replaced with carefully designed highlights. You can refer to Christina Aguilera’s styling in the “Dirrty” MV, but you can’t copy it. The highlight version in 2021 should look like the “Digrant Boy” effect created by hair stylist Shon Ju for Art School, or the psychedelic rainbow-colored hair tail like Matty Bovan.
- Trend 2: Jelly Lips
This season’s IN lip makeup has a bright luster, age-reducing and playful, sweet and charming. Although similar lip makeup has also emerged during the millennium, the new generation of jelly lips must be shiny and translucent: it can be the fresh and natural wind brought by designers Maximilian and Nensi Dojaka to Fashion East; it can also be the multi-dimensionality of Halpern and Mark Fast High gloss, showing all-weather sexy charm.
- Trend 3: 3D makeup
“Farewell to the virtual world and embrace real life” is the theme of many fashion shows this season (when conditions permit, of course). In many 3D make-ups, the beauty of these details can only be seen with your own eyes. May wish to learn from the stars painted on Isamaya French’s face, dotted with crystals, and Bora Aksu model’s star celery flowers painted under the eyes.
- Trend 4: Good complexion blush
This season’s press conference promotes the state of health, and even the model’s cheeks are exceptionally rosy, which we call the “Bridgeton effect.” Simone Rocha demonstrated a girlish rose blush, and Molly Goddard chose a bolder and more enthusiastic 80-style hot powder.
- Trend 5: Colorful Eyeshadow
Although it is about to be unblocked, some occasions still need to wear a mask, and everyone naturally has to pay more attention to eye makeup. Preen by Thornton Bregazzi brightens up the new season look with elegant and striking lavender eyeshadow. Molly Goddard even smudges the bright pink to the temples, which is very visually impactful.
- Trend Six: Compilation and Distribution
It was difficult to get a haircut during the epidemic, so everyone played with retro braided hair. On the show this season, the retro braid has been fully upgraded. Simone Rocha played the punk princess style, with the braided hair high up or with short hair. Bora Aksu made the braided hair into a bun, taking the ascetic style of the regency period.
